Pee Wee Program

Students ages 4-5 will learn the basics of tennis with the use of specially designed equipment to assure a positive and fun experience. The class aims to improve overall hand-eye coordination and introductory tennis skills.

 

Developmental Program

The Developmental Program is for beginner to intermediate level players aged 6-11. Students will learn all the skills to develop the hands, eyes and feet through a series of coordination drills, games and exercises. This program is a partner and team based system specifically designed to build an athletic foundation.

Recommendation Guidelines:

1. Weekly Commitment: Players are recommended to attend at least two training sessions per week to develop their tennis skills. Consistent attendance helps with focused development and improvement.

2. Private Session: Players are recommended to schedule a weekly private session with their primary coach. This provides personalized attention and targeted development based on individual needs and goals.

3. Registration Deadline: Registration should be completed online through the designated portal before each session begins. Ensure all required information is submitted to secure your spot.

4. Tournament Participation: Players are recommended to compete in at least one tournament per month. Tournament experience is valuable for growth, competitive readiness, and applying skills in match situations.

 

School Tennis Program

This program is designed for the competitive middle to high school player who is looking to improve their overall game. The class includes a combination of fed-ball drills, live-ball drills and game play.

Recommendation Guidelines:

2. Private Session: Players are recommended to schedule a weekly private session with their primary coach. This provides personalized attention and targeted development based on individual needs and goals.

4. Tournament Participation: Players are recommended to compete in at least one tournament per month. Tournament experience is valuable for growth, competitive readiness, and applying skills in match situations.

 

Elite Program

The program stresses technique, proper footwork, mental discipline, attitude and physical conditioning. It is strongly recommended to combine regular private lessons from a pro along with the Juniors Tennis program for best results. Admission into the program for any player is based on past tournament results/rankings and a scheduled evaluation.

Recommendation Guidelines:

1. Club Membership: All players must hold an active Junior Membership or be added as a secondary member to an existing club membership to participate in the Elite Program. For assistance with membership, please contact Natalie Scott at Natalie.Scott@genesishealthclubs.com.

2. Invitation Requirement: Participation in the Elite Program is by invitation only. Players must be invited by the coaching staff to ensure alignment with the program’s competitive and developmental standards.

3. Weekly Commitment: Players are required to attend a minimum of two group training sessions per week and schedule a weekly private session with their primary coach. These sessions ensure personalized attention, consistent attendance, and focused development tailored to each player’s goals.

Academy Program

The Academy Program is for the serious tournament player. The program stresses technique, proper footwork, mental discipline, attitude and physical conditioning. It is strongly recommended to combine regular private lessons from an academy pro along with the TTA program for best results. Admission into the program for any player is based on past tournament results/rankings and a scheduled evaluation. The use of correct grips for all shots is required.
