Tomas Descarrega

Born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, Tomas started playing tennis at 4 years old. As a Junior, he was ranked #1 in Argentina in the 12U, 14U, and 16U. In 2016, Tomas competed in the Junior Davis Cup in Budapest, Hungary – finishing 3rd place. In 2017, Tomas was ranked #1 in South America and #60 in the ITF Junior rankings. Also, in 2017, Tomas played the youth Pan-American games and won the gold medal in doubles. He has played in ITF tournaments in Europe, Africa, and Asia. 

After his junior career, Tomas went on to play tennis at Louisiana State University, where he was named Student-Athlete of the Month several times. He was the captain and leader of the team, and after two successful years at LSU, he transferred to the University of West Florida. During his college career, he was ranked #18 in singles and #1 doubles in the ITA rankings. 

Tomas currently resides in Tulsa, OK.
