Hardija Vidnere

Hardija was born in Latvia and started playing tennis at an early age. She was the #1 player in the country for her age in her junior career. At age 12, her family moved to the United Kingdom where she represented the county of Yorkshire. As a junior player, she earned recognition in many international tournaments across Europe.

In 2019, she was recruited to play for Fresno Pacific University. However, to further her career, she transferred to the University of West Alabama in 2020, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts. Hardija was also named an ITA Scholar Athlete four years in a row!

Hardija played number 1 doubles for UWA, where she capped her college career with four consecutive conference championships and a final ranking as the number 10 doubles player in the nation.
