Angie Rains

Angie (Martin) Rains is a former junior player standout from Tulsa. Her successes led to her earning the #1 ranking in Oklahoma and Missouri Valley. Playing #1 Singles for Jenks High School, Angie was a three time State Champion and was honored by the Prince/National High School Athletic Coaches Association as “High School All American Athlete”.

Upon graduating Angie received a full tennis scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. While pursing a Communication degree she earned Academic All Big 8 and helped her team to achieve four winning seasons.

“I had several positive coaches growing up that not only taught me how to improve my tennis game on the court but also more importantly encouraged me to be successful off the court. I am grateful for this opportunity to help kids have fun learning the game of tennis and develop life skills such as being competitive, facing adversity and that attitude is everything.”
